UMaine, home to more than 11,000 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, combines the opportunities of a large institution with the safety and friendliness of a small campus. The University of Maine offers 15 different degrees in Engineering and Engineering Technology, including Mechanical, Chemical and Electrical. UMaine also has an AACSB accredited Business School that offers a variety of business majors and an MBA. As a comprehensive university, UMaine has more than 200 undergraduate and graduate programs, including Computer Science, Biology, Marine Science, Economics, Nursing, Forestry, Climate Science and more. UMaine is located in the safest state in the US, and we welcome students from over 75 countries. Approximately 5% of our student population is international. We offer our international students merit scholarships ranging from $5-15,000/year. Our annual tuition is approximately $32,000. All students are considered for scholarship at the time of application. We also welcome students as visiting and exchange for one semester or one year. In addition, graduate students are considered for full tuition waivers and stipends.
