Shasta College, located in Northern California, is a comprehensive two-year college accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). With over 70 years of academic excellence, it is a top community college in California and an important part of the California higher education system. The College offers 124 transfer programs, Associate Degrees and Certificates. Shasta College enrolls approximately 12,000 students. The College has strong 2+2 programs with the California State University (CSU) and the University of California (UC) systems and other four-year institutions across the U. S. including UC Berkeley and UCLA.
