Aditya Narayan

Aditya comes from Fairfax. In 2018 he graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Chemistry and Biology and now is a Fulbright fellow (English Teaching Assistant) at the Medical University of Łódź.

As an undergraduate, he co-founded ReinventED Lab, an education innovation non-profit focused on incorporating student-driven learning frameworks into schools. In addition, he launched the TomTom Youth Innovation Conference celebrating student-driven learning efforts throughout Virginia, the Co-Create UVA program, an initiative to train students as consultants in course design, the Changemakers program which trained UVA students as project-based learning mentors for high school students, the Future of Learning Collective which served as an organizing body for education innovation in the county, the Ripple Fellowship for supporting students in launching their first ventures, and Medlock, LLC, a company supporting development of a hardware/software hybrid system which empowers patients and providers in rural settings to engage in medically assisted treatment. Further, he served as a research assistant exploring cancer genomics, cardiovascular translational research, neurosurgical research, and education on anaphylaxis in schools with multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.

In the future, he aims to work in the academic medicine space to design interventions and conduct translational research on addiction, as well as innovate in medical education to better prepare the next generation of physicians to address the changing landscape of medical design, public health and health care delivery.

Aditya pochodzi z Fairfaxu. W 2018 roku ukończył studia z chemii i biologii na Uniwersytecie Wirginii, a teraz jest stypendystą programu Fulbrighta (English Teaching Assistant) na Uniwersytecie Medycznym w Łodzi.

Podczas studiów został współzałożycielem ReinventED Lab, organizacji non-profit zajmującej się wprowadzaniem do szkół rozwiązań edukacyjnych opracowywanych przez studentów.

Zapoczątkował konferencję TomTom Youth Innovation, która jest świętem studenckich inicjatyw edukacyjnych w Wirginii. Jest autorem takich programów jak Co-Create UVA, przygotowujący studentów do aktywnego uczestnictwa w kształtowaniu programu zajęć, czy Changemakers, w którym studenci Uniwersytetu Wirginia podejmują się projektów opieki mentorskiej nad uczniami liceów. Kolejne jego inicjatywy to Future of Learning Collective, która służyła jako lokalne centrum dla innowacji w edukacji, the Ripple Fellowship, pomagająca studentom w otwieraniu ich pierwszych biznesów, a także Medlock, LLC, firma wspierająca rozwój systemu oprogramowania i sprzętu komputerowego, który na terenach wiejskich zwiększa dostępność usług opieki medycznej.

Podczas studiów, jako asystent badawczy, zajmował się badaniem genomu komórek nowotworowych, translacyjnymi badaniami nad układem krążeniowo-naczyniowym, a także badaniami z dziedziny chirurgii. Rezultatem jego pracy są liczne recenzowane publikacje i rozdziały książek.
