Adam Ziemba

Adam graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Economics. He began his Harvard admissions essay with a quote, “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” This quote has been the epitome of his own conviction on how we should dare to dream. One of his first steps, a dream of making the world a better place, took him on a path which he would have never imagined was possible. He gained admissions to Harvard University in 2010. Among his other responsibilities there, he was honored to serve as a President of the Harvard Polish Society. Not only did he want to bring the Polish community together, but he hoped to expand it by promoting education at American universities among Polish high school students. Since graduation from Harvard in 2014, he has mentored students who gained their admissions letters into universities such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, University of Pennsylvania and New York University.

Adam jest absolwentem studiów politycznych i ekonomicznych na Harvard University, które ukończył z tytułem Bachelora. Swój esej w podaniu o przyjęcie na Uniwersytet Harvarda otworzył cytatem “podróż przez tysiąc mil rozpoczyna się od jednego kroku”. Ten cytat jest ucieleśnieniem jego osobistych przekonań co do tego, jak odważni powinniśmy być w naszych marzeniach. Jeden z pierwszych kroków, jakie poczynił, aby zmienić świat na lepszy, zaprowadził go na drogę, o której nigdy sobie nie wyobrażał, że jest w ogóle możliwa. Został przyjęty na Harvard University w 2010 r. Wśród funkcji jakie pełnił na uniwersytecie była również rola prezesa stowarzyszenia polskich studentów Harvard Polish Society. Nie tylko starał się integrować grupę polskich studentów, ale również powiększyć ją poprzez promocję studiów w Ameryce wśród uczniów polskich szkół średnich. Po ukończeniu studiów na Uniwersytecie Harvarda w 2014 r. mentorował studentów, którzy zostali przyjęci na takie uniwersytety, jak  Harvard, Yale, Stanford, University of Pennsylvania i New York University.
